Hello Everyone!
We enjoyed such a beautiful, sunshine filled weekend to celebrate mid May but tonight it looks like the real Winter weather has finally arrived :( I hope everyone is keeping nice and warm, and if you’re anything like me then it’s time to take the hot water bottle out of the cupboard!
I’m sure we can all agree it’s been yet another interesting couple of weeks. Recently the South Australian Government announced an easing of restrictions, and that has brought some positive energy and excitement at the prospect of things finally beginning to return to normal. It has also been a somewhat frustrating time with perhaps a sprinkling of confusing information, and I wanted to take this opportunity to try to give you all a clear idea of what Yuki Health and Happiness is looking like over the next couple of weeks :)
As things stand in relation to current South Australian Government guidelines, while local community centres are technically allowed to open they have strict attendee limits and this means that currently there can be no more than ten people at the venue at any one time. Unfortunately, for this reason Yuki Health and Happiness classes at venues such as Cumberland Park Community Centre, Byards Community Centre and Seaford Community Centre must currently remain on hold :( Gyms and fitness centres are to remain closed, which means Yoga classes at Seaford Recreation Centre are also on hold.
With regards to classes at Living Choice, I am currently talking with staff at the venue and there may be the opportunity to begin preliminary classes soon. However, if something can be arranged, classes will initially be available to residents only for reasons of safety and well being. With regards to Wakefield House classes, timetables are currently on hold.
Okay, that’s the not so good news, but it does get better!!! Online classes are still going and are as popular as ever, so if you haven’t had the chance to join us there’s no better time than right now to turn your lounge room into your own private gym :) It’s also a great way to catch up and chat with others! So feel free to visit my VIDEOS page where you can find a timetable and simple link to transport you to the fun :)
Not only that, but from all accounts there could be a further lift in restrictions towards the end of the first week in June. While nothing is certain, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we will finally see the chance to re-open facilities and get back to the serious business of Health and Happiness!!!
Finally, our well being doesn’t just come from healthy food and exercise – an important ingredient to our happiness is the joy of sharing time with friends :) I would love to hear your thoughts about an online Yuki Health and Happiness coffee club moving forward over the next couple of weeks, as it could be a great opportunity for our fitness family to get together for some laughter, share in some fun quarantine tips, and keep up to date as things begin to change once again. So please do feel free to comment on this blog, send me an email, a text or a phone call – I’d love you hear from you!!!
As soon as I know more I’ll be sure to let you all know. In the meantime, stay safe and warm, and know that I miss you all so very dearly and can't wait for our classes to begin again real soon. Most importantly of all though, if there's one thing we all need to remember during these challenging times, it's that... YOU’RE WORTH IT :)
Take care and I'm always here for a chat,
Yuki.

Hello Yuki. Please let me know about the coffee club. I would like to join. And I will see if my sisters are able to join us too. Rosalie 💋
