winter wonders

Hello Everyone :)

Wow, just a couple more sleeps until the start of Winter and what a strange and unique way to welcome her first chilly kiss!!!

As many of you might know by now, the South Australian government has announced another lift of restrictions beginning on Monday the 1st of June. This is absolutely fantastic news and a wonderful sign that finally things will be normal once again soon. The process of transition from business lock down back to regular timetables certainly won’t be without challenges, but by coming together and working within the changes I know we can turn the start of Winter into a celebration of health, happiness and success!!!

I absolutely understand that clear communication is extra important during this transition, and I’ll be updating this blog each day or two moving forward to let you all know what is happening as venues begin the process of opening back up. Before I announce a couple of the super positive new changes however, I just want to thank each and every one of you for all of the heart filled motivation and support you have shown during such unprecedented times. You are all a vital part of the reason South Australia is now one of the safest places to live in the world, and the inspiration you have all radiated is a treasure that will never be forgotten :)

Together we have been a part of history, and together we are stronger than ever!

Okay, now time for details! Although restrictions lift on Monday the 1st of June, I have spoken with the amazing staff at different venues and all have informed me they will be opening their doors to the public starting Tuesday the 9th of June. This is because it will take a little time to ensure everything is safe and ready after our long period of shut down, and also to arrange temporary timetables needed to accommodate number restrictions in place until the next change.

Strength For Life classes at Cumberland Park will recommence the week beginning Monday, June the 8th. Session times will be confirmed very shortly, but please note until further government announcements there is a limit to 10 clients per class and so bookings will be required. (Don’t worry – I’ll make sure the whole process is super easy!)

I’m happy to also confirm the return of a first initial Chair Yoga class at Seaford Community Centre beginning the same week! As with Strength For Life classes, these too will be restricted to a maximum of 10 and I will confirm the session time shortly :)

Although things might be a little tricky over the next few weeks when it comes to timetables and availability, we can all draw positive energy from the fact it means things will be normal again real soon. The reality is rules are changing every day which is making things a little tricky for venues when it comes to arranging things, but the fantastic news is that online classes will still be going strong so your personal gym is still open for business!!!! If you still haven't joined us for the fun what are you waiting for?

There is one thing that is absolutely certain though. No matter what it takes, I am ready and waiting to join in the celebrations with all of our amazing and beautiful Health and Happiness family members when things return to normal. We may have a frosty Winter ahead, but I can’t wait to work with you all and show the universe what true heart and determination can achieve :)

It’s also really important to me that you all know I’m always here if you want to have a chat, whether it’s about upcoming changes to our classes, health and fitness advice or just a conversation to let me know how you are. I love to hear from the amazing people that help make our fitness community the magic that it is!!!

Please do visit again over the weekend for the our latest updates, and I hope you all have the opportunity to enjoy the little sunshine we'll receive before the big rains fill our gardens :)

Keep warm and stay tuned,

Yuki.

p.s. cold weather means yummy vegetables :)
