The Strength For Life program has been hand crafted to promote health and well being for people over the age of 50. As part of the fantastic COTA South Australia it is the perfect class to rebuild functional strength and increase the quality of life with newfound freedom of movement.
Your Strength For Life journey begins with a visit to your health professional to obtain clearance for participation, followed by a one on one personal assessment to tailor the perfect exercise program to reach your health and happiness goals and build a new you!
What are the benefits of Strength For Life?
Strength – Muscle strength can be regained and maintained regardless of your age, and an increase in overall strength means day to day tasks and movement become easier than ever! Whether it’s gardening, golf, dancing or house chores, a stronger you means a confident you :)
Improved Balance – Our classes will greatly improve your overall balance and that means a huge reduction to the risk of falls and a greater sense of movement.
Great State Of Mind – One thing for certain is that you’ll finish every class with a beaming smile and a wonderful boost to your mood that you didn’t think possible :) Moving your body and focusing your mind truly reinvigorates the soul and I make sure every class is not just a great exercise program but also a reason to laugh and feel great!
Reduced Lower Back Pain – Many of us experience lower back pain and other physical ailments as we grow older but it’s surprising to learn that regular functional exercise can help to reduce these annoying symptoms! Strength For Life classes are tailored specifically for you meaning aches and pains can soon become a thing of the past :)
Increased Fitness – Of course an increase in fitness remains one of the major goals of the classes, and when fitness increases so too does your health, well being and happiness!
